Description: If you own but one Evangelion art book, I would hope this would be it.  Die Sterne is an excellent contender, but I think this book has stuff in it that the other books can't compete with.  Its 178 pages, consisting of the following:

Full color illustrations: 75 pages
Character, Angel, Eva, and Technical refrences: 79 pages

The book also contains an episode guide, pre-production art, a CD/LD/CD-ROM jacket gallery, a index of NewType magazine's features on Evangelion, and a section called "Voices", which could either be interviews with members of Gainax, voice actors, or both.  I don't know, my Japanese is rather limited.

In all its a an excellent book.  Unlike some of the artbooks that get repetitive by having the same illustrations from book to book, this book excels by having half of its art unlike to itself, as it is the only book to contain the refrences and technical drawings you can find in it.
