Der Mond, meaning "The Moon" in German, is the second book to feature artwork by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, character designer and manga illustrator for Neon Genesis Evangelion.  This 120 page book highlights some of his favorite works ranging from 1990-1999.  The book is not limited to Evangelion however,  but as it is his favorite and most prevalent, the book features about 61 illustrations from Evangelion, and 23 from works ranging from Nadia to Fatal Fury, and even an Eric Clapton album cover.  Each illustration is indexed in the back with small notes by Sadamoto about each piece, including year, medium, and where it appeared and or was used for.  The book is large, lavish, and an excellent addition to any Eva or Sadamoto fan's collection.

This book is in circulation in North America courtesy of Viz, and though it was published a number of years away, it's not uncommon in book stores and online vendors.
