Evangelion 2.22 BluRay and DVD rips and fansubs

Hey kids, in case you haven’t heard, Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance was recently released on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan. It has yet to be licensed for distribution in English, however there are now numerous rips and fansubs floating around for you to find, download, and enjoy. If you prefer subtitles, and are anxious to get an actual, honest to goodness Blu-ray disc of this film, you do have an alternative to waiting for a western release. There will be an official Hong Kong release of Evangelion 2.22 later this month, which will have English subtitles, and will be in Region A. It might cost you more, but at least you won’t have to wait another year to have the film on your shelf. I’m considering it getting it myself.
