AT-Translations has put up a poll on their web forum regarding what they should work on over the summer. If you're like me, and have a severe need for new Evangelion manga, I suggest you go over there, register at their
forums, and vote for Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku in the appropriate
topic. True, the vote will obviously be skewed, but at least they'll know that there's still interest in the title. And for those of you who are unfamiliar with the title, I've got a nice little
archive on the site, which includes some scanlations, as well as raws of the manga up to the current stage.

Out of the blue,
AT-Translations has released stage 3 of the Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku manga in English. If you're unfamiliar with this manga, you should know that it is the third officially sanctioned Evangelion manga series. The series is authored by Osamu Takahashi and is up to two complete volumes, with new stages going towards volume 3 currently being produced. If you'd like to take a look, I have the English scanlations hosted locally which you can find
here, as well as some raws if you would like to browse further. If you enjoy what you see, send an email to AT-Translations expressing your interest in them continuing forward with the series. You can also email your favorite manga distributor, expressing your interest in seeing this comic commercially distributed. Likely candidates are
Viz and
ADV Manga.

It would appear that the
Shinji Ikari Raising Project manga which I posted about sometime last year is still in production and had its first volume published by Kadokawa Comics on the 25th of March. Scans of the volume were made available and have been archived along with the two stages that have been translated by
AT Translations, and some additional stage scans and some magazine cover scans. It might not be along the lines of the official Evangelion manga by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, but it might still tide you over until the commercial version of volume 10 is available in English. The Shinji Ikari Raising Project manga is authored Osamu Tahashi, and is very similar in feel to the Girlfriend of Steel 2 manga authored by Fumino Hayashi, so if you've read a bit of that and found it enjoyable, then give the Shinji Ikari Raisin Project manga a read. It might not become commercially available, so you should read it while you have the opportunity, and possibly give it some buzz and consideration for distribution in English.
Also, I have received two donations towards the forum transfer, so I want to thank those people for their help, and say that it is a good start. I'm going to try my best to bring you guys some new content in the coming weeks, and try and get some serious work on Eva Monkey done, and make it worthy of people's donations. And I as I said, there will be definite perks for those that make donations. I won't say what, but it will be worth the donation.
