Being the foremost expert on the subject, you wouldn't think writing a succinct description of yourself would be so difficult. But as it turns out, it's about as deceptively difficult as doing your taxes for the first time. Perhaps the difficulty is in knowing too damn much about yourself to be useful. Whatever the reason may be, you have stumbled upon my feeble attempt to convey who I am to you.
If I had to choose one word to describe myself, it would probably have to be "geek". If there's one constant in my life, it's my shifting fixation on subjects of interest that are ultimately unimportant. You can thank my ADD for that. I have been a gaming geek, an anime geek, a Magic: The Gathering geek, a web geek, a film geek, an art geek, and an Evangelion geek over the years. Although not all of these currently occupy my time, there still remain some constants in my life.
I've always wanted to be an artist. Always. Since elementary school, and perhaps before that, I have always wanted to make art. It's always changing and shifting, from illustration, to animation, to writing, to video games, to web, to film & video. I have always wanted to create. These days I'm content to focus on writing, web design, and film & video. I don't know what role these aspirations will have in my life, simply that I hope to explore them professionally one day.
